So we’ve built a formula for converting oC to oF:
oC x 1.8 + 32 = oF OR oF = 1.8 x oC + 32
(Sometimes this formula is written as oF = x oC + 32 because there are 9 F degrees for every 5 C degrees as shown in the table above.)
Now the original question posed actually requires us to convert from oF to oC. Let’s start with 70oF and work out its equivalent value on the Celsius scale.
