Now you have worked step-by-step with ways of teaching learners how to write paragraphs using two basic paragraph structures.

You can now apply this information to teach how sentences and paragraphs are constructed and to build learner confidence and skill through interactive sessions.

Practising writing topic sentences and paragraph content to match the controlling focus of the topic sentence was one way shown to build learner confidence.

Concluding sentences were also briefly addressed in this section.

A further area of development for your learners would be around thinking of the reader in terms of selecting the most appropriate paragraph content for the reader.

Overall, this online module is most suitable for teaching your learners how to edit and revise sentences and paragraphs as well as to plan and compose their writing tasks with clarity and focus.
