We all face things that stop us from becoming better at something or from succeeding. Get your learners to think about what de-motivates them in various areas of their life. Ask them questions like:

  • What stops you from starting a task or project?
  • What stops you from carrying on with a task, even though they know it’s important to do so?
  • What stops you from taking an interest in something that you know will be good for you?
