  • Plan what you will say to give feedback to learners in relation to a specific skill or strategy you are teaching.
  • Tell your learners that you are trying to give them effective feedback.
  • Choose two or three occasions to give focused feedback. This may be oral or written.
  • Ask your learners afterwards how the feedback helped them.
  • Reflect on what they say, and consider whether or not you need to modify your feedback.
