  • Writers revise and edit texts to ensure that their writing meets its purpose, and that the spelling, grammar and punctuation are correct.
  • It may require specific teaching, depending on your learners, but should not be an initial focus unless the other aspects of the learners’ writing seem to be relatively strong, and this is quite clearly the area to work on.
