Jenny Amaranathan
Jenny has been involved in mathematics education for over twenty years as a teacher, facilitator and professional developer.
She was a member of the team that worked on the development of the ‘Learning Progressions for Adult Literacy and Numeracy’ and the adult numeracy professional development. For over four years she has worked with educators/trainers in ITPs, PTEs, Wānanga and ITOs focusing on numeracy development. Jenny looks forward to continuing to give support in the area of adult numeracy with a particular interest in ‘attitudes to numeracy’ and lifting the profile of numeracy in the workplace.
